Cara Peterson, Web Person

What is a Web Person? Good question. Since I do a little bit of this and that in the great expanse that is the Internet, I thought "Web Person" was an appropriate description. I do some web development (font-end with some server-side scripting). I do some web design. While I was not formally trained in graphic design, I have developed my skills over the last few years. It's amazing what you can learn when you put your mind to it.

By day, my professional work focuses on web application interface design (a.k.a. form design). By night, I take on part-time freelancing work doing simi liar projects for different industries.

This site is used to present my web design portfolio, at least what I can display outside of confidentially agreements. And if you're interested in my work history and education, I have a basic resume available.

On A Personal Note

In order to organize some of the chaos in my life, I split off my personal, non-professional-related website to caradotcom.com. I added a blog in late-2004 to document the unusual happenings in my life. Everybody needs a little fun, right? Even me - despite what some may say about me being all work and no play. Some work and some play keeps a Libra balanced.
